Is there anything more indulgent than a chocolate-dipped strawberry? We honestly don't think so. That crunchy crisp, through to that smooth, sweet hit. It couldn't be any more amazing. One problem, though. If you're looking to cut out sugar (or reduce it, at least), you may be torn between wanting to enjoy these amazing treats and not wanting to overload with sugar.
Thankfully, there is a way! Our no-sugar matcha-dipped strawberry recipe is a favourite in our homes, and it's so easy to make! Aside from the natural sugars in your strawberries, they also contain no refined additives, meaning they're clean and great for the gut.
That's right. You can enjoy this snack without feeling guilty.
Why are strawberries so good for you?
Strawberries are one of those fruits that just keep on giving. With amazing detoxing properties, they can keep the gut happy and healthy while working to keep you feeling your best (even during the flu season). They also contain amazing Vitamin C, which can build your immune system and help curb inflammation.
When enjoyed on their own (and not with added sugar), they are a great treat that's oh-so-sweet and amazing for your diet.
Why should matcha be number one in your life?
Matcha is one of the best superfoods that you can get your hands on. So, if it's not a part of your regular routine, it will be after you find out why it's so good for you! Not only is it a powerful detoxant but matcha has also proven to show improvements in organ health, particularly the kidneys, lungs, liver and brain. Matcha in the morning can enhance your focus as well, helping you to work better, feel more motivated and not experience that painful afternoon sluggishness.
It's an excellent alternative to coffee. Trust us! And if you can't say goodbye to your morning caffeine, good news. Matcha has natural caffeine in it, too! Unlike coffee, however, it won't leave you crashing hard at 2 pm. It releases slowly, instead, meaning it can keep you awake longer in the day. Plus, it also won't keep you up at night!
But is there too much of a good thing?
So, we've spoken about how powerful and beneficial these ingredients are. But, if there is still a 'bad' amount of them. Of course! Even the healthiest foods can have negative turns if it's all that you eat. Remember that moderation and variety are your best friends. Learning how foods impact you and how, when consumed together, they can elevate your health will help you live your best. This will also allow you to plan a nutrient-rich meal program that still allows you to indulge.
Onto the recipe. How to make matcha-dipped strawberries
The ingredients:

- 200 g of sugar-free white, milk or dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon of Jomeis Fine Foods Matcha Latte
The Method:
- Wash and air dry your strawberries.
- Add your chocolate to a heat-safe bowl.

- Turn off the heat.
- Dip your strawberries in the mix, stems first. Allow the chocolate to drip off before setting it onto a prepared baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Place in the fridge to chill for 15 minutes. Or, for a summer treat, chill in the freezer.
- Enjoy!
