Do I Need To Add Extra Ingredients To My Hoodles? 

Absolutely not! Our Hoodles are made to be enjoyed on their own. But we do love to make them all the more exciting with a few added ingredients. Not only can this fill you up more, but it can ensure your Hoodles always remain compelling. 

Don't worry if you don't have extra ingredients on hand, however. Some boiling water is all you need to delight the taste buds when our Hoodles are involved. 

We recommend playing with how much water you use for your Hodles. Some people prefer them to be juicy, like a soup! Others prefer a drier Hoodle to get a delicious crunch! 

What Ingredients Can I Add?

The sky is the limit when it comes to our Hoodles. Anything that you could put in a normal ramen, you can add to our delicious Hoodles. Think thin cuts of meat, vegetables, dried shallots, seaweed, pickled vegetables, soy sauce, vinegar and even an egg! For an added touch, some sesame seeds for garnish can take your Hoodles all the way!

But, this isn't the only way you can enjoy them! Drain the broth, scramble in egg and cabbage and fry them for an instant okonomiyaki that sends your taste buds straight to Japan.

So, How Do We Like Them? 

The recipe below shares just one of the ways that we love to enjoy the Jomeis Fine Foods Hoodles. It's super quick and typically made with ingredients that you can find in your kitchen. Just 5 minutes is enough to whip up this magic, and trust us, you won't regret it. 

The Ingredients 

  • A Jomeis Fine Foods Plant Based Hoodles of your choice 
  • Hot water (boiling)
  • An egg 
  • Chopped bok choy 
  • Shredded carrot 
  • Dried shallots 
  • Sesame seeds
  • Nori sheets 

The Method 

  • Open the Jomeis Fine Foods Hoodles of your choosing and pour in your boiling water. 
  • Crack an egg into the hot broth and place the lid back on top to trap the heat inside. 
  • While you wait for it to cook, chop your vegetables, including your carrot, bok choy and nori sheets.
  • Once your Hoodles have cooked (they should be soft) and your egg has poached, top with the remaining ingredients and enjoy!
